Gamers, especially pros, are now declaring the Nintendo Wii console is done for. Everyone who has one already bought, "serious" gamers don't play the Wii, and once you get the console, what else is there to keep it fresh and interesting? Well the Nintendo Wii is far from over, and especially with so many people still on the fence about getting one.
There are literally thousands of reasons to still get a Wii console. The Wii is easy to set up, and also very easy to play. All you have to do really is wave the controller at the sensor bar to move your characters. The games available also range from easy, like Mario Party 8 for children, up to more difficult games like Zelda Twilight Princess.
So, you don't have to be an expert, or a serious gamer, or even a parent to want the Wii and have a lot of fun with it. There's also the Nintendo Wii Fit, with its balance board, that lets you do yoga, strength exercises, keep on a weight loss program, and track your progress. There are also new games coming out like EA Sports Active that will challenge just about anyone, gamer or not.
In addition to the great accessories and upcoming games, Nintendo continues its innovation, planning new accessories and games. For example, recently released is the Wii MotionPlus, an accessory to increase the Wii controller's motion-sensitive features so they are more fine tuned to your movement. Along with the MotionPlus, a new release Wii Sports Resort has come out, building on the previous Wii Sports game.
For anyone still thinking about buying a console, take a look at the new Wii Fit bundles which include the console packaged with the Sports Resort game and the MotionPlus. There are also bundles which include the console and any other type of game you can think of, kids games, sports games, even Mario Kart for Wii along with extra steering wheels.
Not to mention all the downloadable games that are available on the Wii Channel. For owners with a wireless network at home, there are dozens of additional games available online like Super Mario and Donkey Kong arcade games plus new games like Defend Your Castle and My Life As A King. No matter what your age, or gaming interest, there are many new things for the Nintendo Wii console to let anyone get into the fun.
